-i found a muffin recipe that requires 1 12 oz chocolate chips , how many cups is that ?



please answer quick !!!!!Wear yourself out measuring and calculating, the simple truth is there is a word missing "Bag." The recipe should read 1 12-oz "bag" milk chocolate chipsI'm hoping you mean ONE 12 oz and NOT 1-1/2 oz. So I'll go with the first: 1 12 oz of chips. Well if 8 oz equals 1 cup then 16 oz = 2 cups or 1 pint. Soooo...12 oz. is about 1 and 3/4 cup.

If you are going to cook it would do you well to learn basic measurements and conversions of measurements. Just sayin'.



So I looked at the recipe and it tells you to use 1 12 oz BAG of choc chips. meaning the Whole Bag. You don't need to use cups of it, but if you do I stand by my answer.

8 ounces is a cup! so you divide how many ounces of chocolate you need by that number
